I really love this daycare....the teachers are great. I haven't had any issues, unlike other day area that seem to not care about anything else except money. My child is learning good life skills as well as how to live as a Christian

Dear Parent,

I apologize if there was any misunderstanding on the behalf of Throne of Grace Daycare. We value our customers and care a great deal about all of our children. As a part of our standard procedure we complete accident reports for any and every accident that occurs on our property. Unfortunately no one witnessed this incident nor did they notice any abrasions on your son at the close of business. It was not until two days later, when you removed your son from our daycare, that we were made aware of the incident. Ma'am we apologize for the injuries that your son may have incurred. Had we been given the chance to further investigate we may have been able to determine the location and/or cause of his injuries. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you or your family. It is our hope that you find a daycare that is suitable for you and your children. Sincerely, Bishop Sumberlin.

I would like to share my experiences with Throne Of Grace Childcare. The incompetence of their feedback to parents is LACKING! This morning I noticed an abrasion on my sons bottom lip and asked what happened. He explained to me that while playing outside, he fell and busted his lip. After I examined his lip, I decided it needed to be looked at by his pediatrician. She then explained to me that he indeed had fallen and that his lip is in the healing process. Now, granted, being the mother of 2 boys, I understand accidents happens but by no means should they go unreported, especially by a so called "Christian" daycare. After addressing my concerns with Bishop Emberlin, I was hit with tons of "possible scenarios" of what could have occurred instead of accepting the reality that my son had a incident on his watch, and his poor excuse of a staff, didn't take the time to write out a incident report or make me aware of his injuries when I picked him up yesterday. His excuses went from they didn't go outside at all yesterday because of the rain, to they only went outside in the morning, to his incident didn't happen at ALL at the daycare. Again, my son hurting his lip wasn't a catastrophic occurrence but it is definitely something a parent would want to be made aware of. Sadly to say, this is not the only problem I have had with Throne of Grace Childcare but certainly this was the last and final straw. Every problem I have had with them I was given knowledge of by my CHILDREN not staff. From my sons food being thrown away and NOT replaced because he wasted his milk to neither he or my other childs shoes NEVER being tied when I pick them up. (Surely we know loose strings on shoes is a recipe for disaster) In closing, I just wanted to inform other parents, consumers and possible childcare seekers of MY experiences with this "facility"
