About the Provider
Our before and after school program offers activities, according to themes that interest the children. Our program is a safe place to be that will further their learning experiences, provide nutritious, wholesome snacks, and encourage positive interactions and development.
Kindergarten time is offered when the school-age children are in class. During this two-hour period, we provide art, movement, games, literacy and mathematic activities to help your child be a better student. Kindergarten children are helped with responsibilities such as clean-up, dressing in outdoor gear, and making sure they have their belongings. We also assist them in use and development of positive social skills. Kindergartners are able to ride the bus to school or home at the end of the day with their older siblings.
Thrivalaska School Age Program is licensed for 40 children, ages 5 – 12 years. We are located in room 221. Our hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 5:45pm. We provide services for early dismissals, most school in-service days, including Parent/Teacher Conferences, and on most state and federal holidays. We offer a before and after kindergarten sessions.
We are located within the school so children can easily go to class, attend clubs, and be in an environment that is prepared for them after school. Thrivalaska has been providing this valuable service to families at Pearl Creek Elementary school for over 20 years.
