This Little Light Learning Center began in 2007 as a Licensed In Home Childcare. Due to a rather lengthy waiting list we recently expanded, building a new 3000 sqare foot facility next to our home. We have excellent staff and have been a 4 start facility with Texas Rising Star for 7 years. We are also a Texas School Ready program with our teachers attending C.I.R.C.L.E. training weekly. We prepare your child for school by using the TSR curriculum as well as some Spanish and Sign Language. We also have many "hands on" activities including art, science and sensory activities.
The Director has over 21 years experience in this community as a child care administrator as well as a pre-k teacher with an excellent reputation for getting children ready to face the world! References available upon request.
We accept children ages 2 (and potty trained) through age 12. We have certified teachers to help with homework and pre-school activities.
Initial License Date: 8/12/2014.

My son attends TLLLC part time, two days a week. He counts down the days to return to school! He absolutely loves all his teachers, but has a very special bond with his main teacher, which melts my heart. Drew will run to hug her each morning and waves me goodbye. I know he is well taken care of, loved and hugged, and taught great manners by each staff member. Can't say enough about this wonderful establishment! Thankful for Ms.Debbie and her employees!
I love this center. Since my girls have started attending they have learned so much. They are singing, Counting, and saying their alphabet. Plus identifying colors, letters, and numbers. I am very happy with this facility and they teachers that work and care for my girls.

This is an awesome place to send your kiddos! The teachers love each kid like their own! It's not just any ordinary child care facility either, your kids will learn so much, and have loads of fun while doing so!! It's the best around!!!
We have had such a wonderful experience at this faculty. My daughter has been going for 2 years and she is more than ready for kinder. My younger daughter is on the waiting list for when she become old enough.
Mrs. Debbie and This Little Light Learning Center are top-notch! Can't say enough about this facility and staff. The teachers truly love the children and it's evident from the moment the kids step foot in the door. I never worry about anything with my child when I drop him off in the morning because they love him like he's there own. They are always vigilant about teaching the children and that's very important to me. They are also great about making the kids mind and be respectful towards each other and towards staff. I could go on and on about all the great attributes about this daycare, but the fact that I can drop him off here without hesitation is proof enough of the quality of this place.
Love this center and its teachers! My child wakes up wanting to go to school. This center is newly constructed, clean, and is centered around child development with rich, engaging centers and manipulatives. The teachers greet you in the morning and afternoons with a smile and are consistently interacting with the students. So nice to have peace of mind going to work and leaving my child in such a safe, loving environment.
The director Ms.Debbie, taught both of my kids 20 years ago. she was the best then and she's the best now. And she is now teaching my grandson. If you want the best start for your child's development whether it be social or educational "This little light Learning Center" is where you and your child need to be!!
