Description: The Wonder Years Learning Center located in Beaverton, OR, aims to create a safe and nurturing community with children, their families and our teachers, together in collaborative inquiry and cheerful play. Our preschool offers full and half-day programs for young children from ages two and a half to six years old. We cultivate a healthy learning environment that aims to let the children within our care to discover their own unique characteristics, to develop their own independence and to build their self-esteem.
Our preschool follows the Reggio Emilia approach, with a Reggio-based curriculum, this lets children explore and interact with their immediate environment while going at their own healthy pace. With an emergent curriculum that is based and built on the children’s interests, the teachers along with the children work together on projects that unravel hidden talents and nurture children’s natural interests, which can be studied in-depth afterwards.
