About the Provider
The Village Nursery School (VNS) is a non-profit, state-licensed nursery school that provides a quality pre-school education in a nurturing environment.
VNS was established in 1957 as the “The Village Cooperative Nursery School” by a group of parents to provide the community with a preschool for children aged three- to five-years-old, regardless of race, creed, color or gender.
For more than 50 years we have been proud to offer early childhood education in Farmington.
The school offers three classes and is operated by a parent volunteer Board of Directors. It is in operation from early September to mid-June. The Farmington Public School calendar is generally followed with respect to snow days, holidays and vacations.
