Description: H.A.L.O. Child Enrichment Center (Helping and Learning Opportunities) is a DCF licensed child care facility established specifically for homeless children whose families are currently residing in our Emergency Family Shelter, Family Living program, or other local shelters. HALO is staffed with child care professionals who offer love, support, and stability. They work to create an atmosphere which benefits the children emotionally, socially, and academically. Parental partnership is also an important part of HALO's purpose. The staff work with mothers and fathers on improving their parenting skills. The goal is to provide a safe place for children to learn and grow while their parents work toward a secure future.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.
