About the Provider
The Salvation Army Child Care Center, located at 210 Spalding Ave., is licensed by the Department of Children and Family Services to provide services to children ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age.
The comprehensive care offered by the staff of the Child Care Center includes developmentally appropriate activities addressing the social, emotional, intellectual, nutritional, physical and spiritual needs of the children in care.
The Salvation Army Child Care Center also serves as an observation and practicum site for students enrolled in early childhood education courses at Bradley University and Illinois Central College.
A sliding fee scale is provided to insure low-income family participation in the program. The Salvation Army ChildCare Center is accredited by the NAEYC.
