The Greater Ridgewood Youth Council @ PS 153

Since September 2006, the PS 153 21st CCLC Program has served approximately 100 children. Our program is open to the students of PS 153 in grades 1 thru 5. It operates Monday - Friday between 3-6PM, during the school calendar year. Since January 2008, the OST After School Program has served approximately 100 kids within PS 153. It operates Monday thru Friday between 3PM-6PM, during a school calendar year. Our goal is to provide a learning environment that supports Department of Education performance. We provide a fun and safe environment for which students partake of educational, recreational, and creative activities. Our activities are designed to provide educational enrichment through Homework Help and Tutoring, Arts & Crafts, and Sports Activities. Snacks are provided for every child and special events are also planned.
