The Children’s Museum preschool is unique – and fully integrates the preschool curriculum with the benefits and accessibility to the offerings of a science and nature museum. The focus is on creative play, movement, arts, hands-on learning, and story-telling, all of which helps set the foundation for academic excellence, social development, and lifelong learning.
The New Children’s Museum Preschool is one of the oldest in the United States. The preschool offers full and part day options, and is open from 8 am - 5 pm.
Weekly visits to the museum enhance the experience with private live animal demonstrations, planetarium shows, and hands-on participation in permanent and featured science-oriented exhibits.
