About the Provider

The Alefbet Preschool is a warm, loving environment where the cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual development of each child is nurtured. Our school is a place where children are seen as active learners who construct knowledge from a stimulating environment. Our child-centered curriculum is driven by the most recent research in the field of early childhood education.

We are proud that at the Alefbet preschool every teacher knows every child. Teachers, parents, and children are partners in the educational process. This helps to build the trust and the relationships that are so crucial to early learning. Our environment integrates cognitive, social, and emotional learning and our graduates are well-prepared for any public or private school. We celebrate Shabbat and Jewish holidays. We emphasize the joy in being Jewish and our environment supports young children’s moral development.

Here at the Alefbet preschool children spend their days with professionally trained teachers who teach, observe, and inspire the children in their classes. We believe that in order to provide the best education for our children, we must be continually learning. We strive to create a learning community where children, teachers, and parents have opportunities to learn. This enables us to provide an education for each child that is based on the latest educational research. As a learning community, we provide classes and workshops for parents on a variety of topics related to child development, early education, and Jewish life.
