Description: We are a Jewish preschool in Howard County located within a synagogue and an integral part of the rhythm of synagogue life. Our preschoolers embrace the temple as their Jewish "home-away-from-home." The preschool is the special place where our students learn their first Hebrew words and songs, where they celebrate the Jewish holidays with new friends, where they engage in mitzvot, where they explore their own spirituality, and where they discover their relation to the world around them on our twenty-acre campus. In the temple setting, our preschoolers learn about respectful listening, sharing, cooperation, thoughtful questioning and sensitivity toward others. Our students participate in literacy-rich experiences, hands-on math and scientific inquiry, and have opportunities to discover artistic and imaginative expression. Temple Isaiah Preschool seeks to maintain a balance between values and academic readiness. Our preschool offers each child a school-home that nurtures the uniqueness of every student so that each child can achieve his/her very best.
