I have used this provider for more than 6 months

Teacher's Pet is wonderful! My daughter is 3 and loves to go everyday! she has made friends, sings songs, knows her colors and the alphabet. They are very attentive to her needs and have helped with potty training. I only wish we found it sooner!

I went to Teacher's Pet for most of my childhood and loved it! The teachers (who were all very nice) always had so many fun activities for us to do. During the summer we went on fieldtrips to a number of places in and around Eureka, like: the nearby zoo and park, some restaurants, the movie theater, picnics, some local beaches, and a bunch of other places. On sunny days the teachers would plan all

sorts of water activities: they would fill the sandboxes up with water and we'd play in them with water toys, we'd play in the lawn's sprinklers and throw water balloons. There were also a lot of special event days. One was Pirate Day when we would all dress up like pirates, make our own treasure maps, make our own pirate boats, and search for hidden treasure in Sequoia Park. Another was Medieval Day when we'd dress up like lords and ladies and act out all of the medieval fantasies that only a kid could dream up. Hawaiian Day was another one of my favorites. We would have a luau with a bunch of Hawaiian themed foods and wear gr*** skirts.

As a kid summer was always the funnest time there, but the school year was great too! Our teachers would pick us up from the nearby elementary school (Washington) and walk us back to Teacher's Pet. We had a healthy snack and then homework time for about an hour after that. I always finished all my homework during this time and got any help that I needed on my homework from my teachers. We had some quiet reading time after we finished our homework, the teachers would keep a number of picture books and kids' novels in the cl***room for us to choose from. They also often read novels to us. After we were done with all our school work we got to play outside for hours. They have a huge playground with large play equipment and slides, a tireswing, basketball court, and a large open field that we often played team sports on or just ran around on.

I don't remember most of my time there as a preschooler. However, they must have prepared me well since I performed well in kindergarten. I was academically and socially ready when I started elementary school even though I was only four when I started.

Some of my best childhood memories were created at Teacher's Pet and I remember it fondly every day as I drive by it on my way to work. I could go on and on about everything that I did there, but I've gone on long enough. Suffice to say that my childhood was better for having gone there and I will definitely be sending my kids there. I don't think I could recommend it more highly than that!
