About the Provider

Welcome to ALL ABOUT KIDS! I believe that each child is a unique individual with different talents, abilities, and learning styles. They need positive, early learning experiences and lots of time to pursue their own ideas. Children learn best by exploring their world through their senses. For this reason I have organized my home to make it a safe place to explore and learn. I keep the children's toys and materials on low shelves to make it easy for the children to find and play with the toys they like. I offer many choices each day. I also plan many activities for children. Playing with play-doh, finger painting, singing songs, reading stories, planting a garden, pretending to be firefighters, blowing bubbles, or riding bikes are typical activities we might do. I strongly believe that children should have fun and learn while they are doing it. We are a Top Star school. I have set and achieved goals to make sure the children in my care receive nutritious meals and snacks and plenty of physical activity for optimal health. We accept children of all ages and abilities. All caregivers have training and experience in caring for children with special needs. We are happy to work with your child and family on any individual goals you have for your child. We are committed to offer support and accommodations to make sure all children and families feel valued and are fully included in our program. I encourage you to come by for a visit so we can discuss your needs and see if my program would be a good fit for your child. Upon enrollment each family will receive a copy of the All About Kids Family Handbook with more information about my policies and procedures.
