Description: Take-A-Break Child Care Center was established to provide quality care to children of parents who need:
A few hours per month to search for employment or housing
Keep necessary appointments
Need a “healthy break”
Weekday child care
Before and after school care
The center provides care for children birth to 14 years of age. It is a community based program open to all families in the Battle Creek area.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. For a year and some change TAB was a really great facility. I had a great relationship with them and most of the workers. A few months back new workers started to come in and things changed. My oldest son started to have alot of behavioral problems. Come to find out a floater named BROOKE was mishandling my child, physically abusing him and I even caught her in action. When I addressed the situation she told the daycare director she felt threatened for her life .. they then proceeded to “ sever the relationship “ the next day following my allegations. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this facility, they have multiple complaints on workers as I have done recent research.
