Description: This year, T. Clay Wood Elementary School and PWCS invite you to BE There for your child as we start a new program to remind all parents to be present for their children in the everyday moments of daily life by simply connecting with your child and asking them questions and creating teachable moments while doing daily routines like driving to school, preparing a meal or shopping for groceries. Throughout the school year, you will see examples of these kinds of moments in PWC's new multimedia campaign that will be on posters, on television and in a series of newsletter tips. Your involvement at home with your child has the greatest impact on his or her achievement.

We have a number of school wide events coming up in January and February including the Rudy Youth Club Pennies for Patients drive and our school wide Jump Rope for Heart program.
Please remember we have recently started a school bank at T. Clay Wood in partnership with PNC. Every Friday, students can make deposits right here at school.
