We are very impressed with the care our children are receiving at sweet peas. We've had some bad experiences with 2 other daycares nearby and miss Ashley was very sympathetic and understanding about our apprehension about daycares. They have kept us updated about our children's day, stay on top of health concerns and cleaning. We've had the privilege of stopping in to have lunch with our children and the home-cooked meals alone are reason enough to bring your children here. Our children are learning so much and their personalities have blossomed since they started attending sweet peas. Our daughters favorite teacher is ms Brittney, you can tell she takes her job seriously and loves the children she takes care of. I promise you won't regret taking your child or children to this center.
We love sweet peas. The daycare is always clean, well kept and very inviting. My daughter loves going to school to see her friends and teachers. You can tell the owner and teachers take great pride in their job and love the children in their care. I feel very lucky we have found such a great place for my daughter to be while I work.
I have 2 children who attend Sweet Pea's , they have also attended two other facilities in the area that we were not pleased with . They have been at Sweet Pea's for almost a year now and we all love it ! It is definitely a family atmosphere , not some sterile environment that some daycares look like . My kids have learned so much while being there and rarely if ever get sick due to the attentiveness of the teachers and their sick policy, something that was lacking at the other 2 centers we used . Miss Ashley is always making great home cooked foods for the kids and my children are always excited to see what they will have for lunch the next day . They allow and encourage parents to participate in their childrens activities there and anytime I have a day off work I love to stop by and read to the kids . If youre looking for a GREAT place to help you raise your children then Sweet Pea's is definitely the place to go !
I was hired as a new director at Sweet Pea's Daycare and my first day on the job I received no training, was left alone with the children and 4 very disgruntled teachers because the center's owner and assistant director decided to leave for three hours without telling me. When they returned I still did not receive adequate training and had to mediate unprofessional drama between the owner and 5 teachers because the staff cannot separate personal from business. I would highly recommend that anyone considering employment or childcare at Sweet Pea's tread carefully and look elsewhere.
