Description: The nationally recognized, research-based Creative Curriculum is used in all child care programs in the Consortium. Developmentally-appropriate versions of the curriculum are used for infant and toddler, preschool, and school age care. The Creative Curriculum was developed by Diane Trister Dodge and colleagues and is published by Teaching Strategies. The Creative Curriculum presents an environmentally based approach to planning and implementing developmentally appropriate practice in early childhood settings. It is an effective way to help children gain the self-help and social competency skills they need for lifelong learning.

Both of my children have attended this day care and I have had nothing but wonderful experiences. Their hours are extended, which works really well for those of us who either work odd hours or have a longer commute. I was sad when they had to discontinue their kindergarten and school-age programs. That meant my son had to change day cares when he entered elementary school. However, my daughter still attends Nierenberg and will until she is ready to start kindergarten.
They have a low turnover with staff and the staff have always been loving and patient with my children. It feels good to be able to trust them.
