I would highly recommend Swampscott Family Child Care. Our child has been with Ellen and her assistants for well over a year now. This is a fun and happy and loving place. Filled with toys and always so clean. Everyone is always so happy to greet us at the door each morning and it is comforting to know that our child spends the day in such a happy and safe place. Everyone is always so positive. I think it is great that there is no television or video offered. It means everything to know our child is so well cared for while we are at work.
Not only are the owners exceptional parents but are also great people. The love and care they show children are second to none. I have known the main owner for most of my life and but I would 100% guarantee you will never find a better child care service anywhere.
I would trust the people at Swampscott Family Child Care not only with my children but with my life
Just had an initial phone screen with the owner, and while she advocates that she "will work with any family to find the best situation" she was the queen of negativity. I can't imagine leaving my child with someone so negative to an inquiring parent. Plus, she doesn't even answer the phone annoucing her business. I had to ask "is this Swampscott Family Care".

About the Provider
We are an established Family Child Care, licensed by the Commonwealth of MAssachusetts Department of Early Education & Care. We have the exclusive use of the entire first floor of a private residence. This provides us with the opportunity to offer so much more than a typical Family Child Care. Your child will play and learn and laugh with a wonderful group of children, under the guidance of a Licensed Provider and Assistant.
Our curriculum includes group activities and 1:1 activities in fine and gross motor areas,music, art activities, reading, language development, and many age appropriate play activities and games.
We have an excellent provider to child ratio and we do not offer any television or video games.
