Susan took care of my son for 10 years, and even though he is now 15, he still considers her his second mom. A few months cannot do not go by without him asking to stop by and say hello. And when I say "take care of," it has been so much more than that. She is a teacher in the truest sense of the word, working not only on what the little ones will need to be ready for school but also teaching them skills for life -- getting along with others, learning age-appropriate responsibility, treating each other with respect, proper nutrition, exercise and the list goes on. I credit so much of who my son is today and the successes he has had to the wonderful base she provided. She has earned every one of those five stars.
