About the Provider

A ministry of the First Alliance Church, Sunshine Nursery School opened its doors in 1966 with eight children.ÿ Founded by church member Onda Armstrong, enrollment at the school grew to 23 within a month.ÿ It has continued growing ever since.ÿ Today, the children, ranging in age from 12 months to 10 years (fifth grade), attend the school throughout the year. Originally started as an outreach ministry to the surrounding community, Sunshine Nursery School continues to fulfill that mission of instilling spiritual values in children in a loving and caring Christian environment. The school is licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. Sunshine has been awarded a star rating in the "Step up to Quality" program. Admission is available to all eligible children regardless of race, religion, color, national origin or sex. Sunshine Nursery School has openings to meet the needs of your family. We would be glad to have you call and schedule a tour. Please call now if your child is between the ages of 12-months and 5 years.
