About the Provider
Summerfield Community School was named after Arthur E. Summerfield, who was the Postmaster General, serving under Dwight D. Eisenhower. The school colors are red, white and blue. Our school mascot is the eagle, in keeping with Mr. Summerfield's ties to the postal service and his dedication to community service.
Summerfield's Principal is Mrs. Phyllis McCree. Mrs. McCree has been the Principal at Summerfield for 13 years. Before becoming an administrator she was an elementary teacher for 18 years.
