To provide a safe and developmentally rich environment for children while their families have to be away. Children are growing and learning many things. Our job is to guide them in their physical, mental and emotional growth while you are at work. They are not perfect (nor are they expected to be); they have good days and bad days, just like adults.
All children learn at different rates. They learn best through naturally occurring events, and through play and activities that provide for autonomy, control and as much practice or repetition as is necessary to master new skills and to learn to develop their own interests. A thoughtful combination of teacher directed, child initiated, and classroom routines constitute our program. The environment is set-up to help children learn: who they are, what they are capable of and being part of a group. Messages will be clear and consistent. We believe that your family is your child’s first and most important teacher. Your perspective and insights, goals and desires of your child are essential to our providing a great program for him or her. Parents are always a welcome addition to our program.
