My children have been enrolled in the Creative Playrooms Day care, which is within the Strongsville Montessori School for the past month and a half. The teachers seems nice and well mannered. The daycare is quite expensive considering you get what you pay for and this day care is known to be the best of the best. However, my two children were discriminated against in this daycare being minorities. The staff failed to inform me of a second degree burn on my infant child and tried to cover it up. They have failed at giving my two children the same care as they give the other children their due to the color of their skin. Even the supervisor acted concern but failed at acknowledging the events that took place in the day care. There are no cameras and according to the cooperate office their won't be because they are built on "trust." I lost ALL trust in this daycare after the inury my son incurred there and the racism is unreal. My children were labeled as nasty, dirty and having bad hygiene which is completely obsurd and all because the color of their skin. I highly DO NOT recommend this day care to anyone.
My son attended this center since 2007. I have seen so many problems with staff and directors. more recently my son was slapped in the face by a teacher. Nothing was done to the teacher so I called state. The owner kicked my kids out because I reported them. She also said " your son is a liar and needs psychological help"!!! when I got to the center friday night she took me in her office and used profanity at me and told me to leave. A Few days later I received a letter in the mail stating that I Owe them a fee because I Didn't give them a 2 week notice that I was leaving the center. I would like to say that they do have a good infant room but thats it....My daughters first day in the toddler room and she fell off a teachers lap while they were in the rocking chair, i was told she tripped over a toy and bumped her head. when I picked her up she had a huge bruise and gold ball size knot on her head. I have had several issuse from this center. My main concern is that the director of 4 months quit and so did 4 teachers along with her. They have a high turn over in staff and they are not qualified teachers!!! I HIGHLY RECCOMMEND FINDING ANOTHER CENTER BECAUSE I DID AND COULDNT BE MORE HAPPIER!!!
