Description: Stonebridge Christian Preschool first opened in 1992 with two small classes held at Fort Street Christian Church on 99th and Fort Street. Over the years, the church has grown and moved to 156th and Butler Avenue, and the preschool has grown as well. For 2014-2015, we will offer 10 different class options for children ages 2-6. We offer fun, creative, and educational activities that help children grow and learn. We provide a Christian environment where children grow in their love for Jesus, and also in their life and learning skills. At Stonebridge Christian Preschool, we use the Handwriting Without Tears Curriculum, which is an easier, happier way for children to learn handwriting. The children engage in learning centers that are designed to strengthen skills in math, language and literacy, dramatic play, music and movement, art, manipulatives, and imaginative play. Children have the opportunity to engage in activities focused on both fine and large motor skills. Spiritual growth is encouraged through Bible stories, music, and prayer.
