Description: Saint Mark's operates a Nursery School open to all children ages four and five years old regardless of race, color, religion, sex creed or national origin. The nursery school is licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. The State Department of Ohio Services inspects the school twice each year and issues a license every two years. The number of and ages of children that we are licensed to serve is posted on our license located in the classroom. The law and rules are available at the school. The center's licensing record, including compliance report forms and evaluation forms from the Health, Building and Fire Department are also available at the school. Qualified teachers are in charge of the program and are assisted by parents. The school curriculum and policies are decided by the Board of Directors. Teachers have had child abuse and neglect training and will report all suspected cases of child abuse to a local agency. St. Mark's Nursery School Board attests to the suitability and character of all parents and staff members who are employees of the center Since the group sizes are limited to 15, a waiting list is taken during the year for registration starting in May. Parents will be called for an appointment for registration. At registration, the parent will need the child's birth certificate, shot records, Doctors and Dentist names and telephone numbers. Also the September tuition must be paid to hold a spot in a class.
