Description: St. Mark’s Preschool is pleased to be able to offerEvansville a quality preschool program for children ages 3 to 5 years, and have been doing so for over 45 years. We take pride in providing an environment that is safe and inviting so children can explore developmentally appropriate materials and be engaged in learning. We have 29 children enrolled during the school year, and some summers have offered a camp for 6 weeks.
With small class size, the staff can interact easily with all the children as individuals and assess each child’s strengths and areas ofchallenge. Children are familiar with a daily schedule that allows time fortheir choices as well as learning to listen and interact in a group setting.Challenging behaviors are handled with gentleness as we seek to build social skills for positive interactions. Our open door policy allows families to work together with the staff to meet the needs of their children.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.
