Description: The purpose of mission is to reach out to those most vulnerable in our community, the nation and the world, assisting the poor, the homeless and the suffering. St. Christopher’s by-the-Sea tithes 10 percent of the parish revenue from pledge-and-plate toward outreach ministries in fulfillment of the obligation for Christian charity. The Faith at Work Committee (FAW) has coordinated funding for the outreach ministries of St. Christopher’s by-the-Sea since 1988 FAW, with committee membership open to all parishioners. FAW Committee meets quarterly to review needs of such ministries as the local homeless centers, Food for the Poor in the Caribbean, AIDS programs, overseas missions, and theological seminaries that educate missionaries. Additional funds are provided in crises such as hurricanes, earthquakes and other natural disasters. Refugees in areas ravaged by war are not forgotten.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.
