Description: The Saint Charles Preschool offers a developmental approach to learning. The curriculum is based on Virginia’s Foundation Blocks for Early Learning, which can be found in PDF file format on the Virginia Department of Education’s website http://www.doe.virginia.gov/VDOE/Instruction/Elem_M/Foundation Blocks.pdf. Under the auspices of the Diocese of Arlington, the curriculum has been enhanced by the addition of the recognition of a loving God. Children learn at their own pace and through play. Our staff recognizes that children learn through play and they work every day to provide the learning environment that supports the joy of learning.
