This Daycare is horrible. They do not even have a handbook. It has been on occasions where they sent my child out with no clothes. I provided clothes,also the daycare workers screams at the children. Do not send your children here ever.
This is the most disgusting childcare center in Spring. The owners are a joke they hire teachers that don’t even like their job let alone care for the kids. No playground just dirt that kids are running across a parking lot to get to. They are located next to a bar that most of the teachers go to for lunch. How did they even get a license when next door to a bar?
Wish I could select no stars. A beware sign is more like it. The owners are a joke. The kids are hungry all the time because they don't give them enough food. The employees are always complaining to parents about the owners and the lack of support they receive. The staff hate their job and you can tell. Kids are in front of TV constantly and don't get me started on the "playground " or lack there of. How many fund raisers are they going to have before they get something. The place stinks like pee and bleach and the playground fence has exposed nails. Is the state doing their job or are they paid off. Stay away
I do not use this daycare, but I was dropping off my child at Smith Elementary and saw the Spring Brainiacs driver talking on her cell phone. Not only was she putting the children on the van at risk but she was doing it in a "Cell Phone Free Zone"!!! This is illegal. Like I said I do not use this daycare, just want parents to know.
I highly recommend Spring Brainiacs. It is evident that the staff and the owners operate the center with the best interest of the children in mind. My school age son has attended the center since its opening last year. Since then, I have witnessed the staff and owners work diligently to constantly improve the quality of childcare provided. I feel at ease leaving my son in their care. The state of the art security door lock system prevents unwanted guests from entering the building. In addition, the center has live surveillance. The staff is warm and welcoming and always available to answer my questions. The newest system implemented is an electronic sign in/ sign out system for each child. This safeguard ensures that all children are accounted for. If you are looking for a center that is built upon ensuring they provide high quality childcare, and strives to provide a safe, nurturing, and positive environment, look no further.
My daughter has been going here since she was about 3 months old. She just turned 1. We love our daycare! She has developed so much in the past year! Her favorite book was read to her first at daycare and her teacher told us how excited she would get when she would pull it out. I have a great relationship with her teachers Ms Damika and Ms Tamika! She comes home with art for every season/holiday. She knows songs from school. She is well socialized and always happy when I pick her up! I've never feared her being here. We had a bad experience with our previous daycare in the Heights which we paid far more money to send her too and I was extremely upset with daycare a in general until she started going here. We love our teachers! And I love the bond I've formed with them in the past months and consider them friends at this point. I guess within the past weeks there has been a lot going on between the management and the owner behind the scenes and while I'm not sure of the details, I do know that I have never been fearful or displeased with those caring for my baby girl!
Well my issues are the teachers. They scream at the kids. My child is 3 and the previous 3's teacher Maria, every time i came inno mayyer what time it would be she was screaming. Now the new threes teach is so lost the kids are out of control. In the last week the change in staff has made everything worse. No one has answers on what is going on and the owner who seems to want to be the show himself is to busy with i guess friends that he isnt helping his staff. My child will not be back after this week. I miss warmth in the building when we started. I feel as if there are toomany kids and these teachers are tired.
WHATEVER YOU DO, STOP AND DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THIS DAYCARE!!! My son which I may start by saying is 2 ½ he will be 3 in a couple of months, started here just a little over a month ago. Every day that he has been there (when they are not closed) has been a disaster. Today took the cake. My son was sent home for the 3rd time since he has been enrolled. Let me say this, I do not uphold my child in his wrong doings, but I do send my child to childcare with skilled workers who assured me they use redirection methods oppose to discipline. I was told that my son would get a daily progress report, art work, and something to allow me to see his progression- I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED A PROGRESS REPORT, NO ART WORK SINCE HE HAS BEEN ENROLLED, HE HAS ONLY LEARNED TO FIGHT!! –PRELIMENARY STRIKE
I have walked in to pick my son up after a long 10 hour shift, to find him wrestling with 3 other little boys in his classroom right in front of the teacher. When I told her I do not allow him to wrestle she said she is letting the boys play and express themselves(NOT LIKE THAT YOU DON’T)!!! I let her know I don’t like that and went on home. 2 days later I get a call to come and pick my son up for FIGHTING- didn’t you all just say the boys wrestling is okay???? Not making it right but you can excuse it one time and not the other, he is 2 and can get confused as to when its “OK” to be aggressive-STRIKE ONE
When I brought that issue to the director Carol’s attention she caught a major attitude and basically called me a liar about seeing the kids wrestling. I am the parent (customer) who sends her child to be in care more than 8 hours a day because I have to work, why in the world would you catch an attitude bc I am expressing my concerns with MY CHILD-STIKE TWO
I get a call today (now 3 times) to come and pick my son up!!!! I have never in my life dealt with adults that can not deal with kids like this daycare. Lord forbid you bring something to their attention, Ms.Attitude Carol will not like that. DON’T DO IT I BEG OF YOU, PLEASE DO MORE RESEARCH BEFORE YOU SETTLE ON THIS PLACE THE LACK OF INTEGRITY AND PROFESSIONALISM AT THIS PLACE IS RIDICULOUS!! OH AND MY SON HAS ALSO SHOWED ME WHAT ONE OF THE HISPANIC TEACHERS HAS DONE TO HIM, MY NEXT CALL – STATE LICENSING, I WILL DEMAND THEM TO WATCH THE VIDEO FOOTAGE FROM THIS PLACE, THEY ARE SURE TO CATCH SOME VIOLATIONS!!!!
