The YMCA is one of the largest providers of child care programs in the Greater Cleveland area. In 2010, we served 2,293 children through our child care and camp programs. We offer full and part-time preschool, before and after-school care and licensed child care summer camp. Our Early Childhood programs offer a safe community which fosters social, emotional and cognitive growth for your child while you are at work. Friendly dedicated staff with backgrounds in early childhood is what you will find at the YMCA. Creative Curriculum is the curriculum choice for all of our early childhood centers. The most important goals of our curriculum are for children to get along well with others and become enthusiastic learners. Our school age programs not only offer a safe place for your child to go after school but also include fun, hands on activities that promote cognitive and social development. Central before care hours: 6:45-8:30 am -Central after care hours: 3:00-6:30 pm -Glendale before care hours 6:45-8:45am -Glendale after care hours: 3:20-6:30pm -Nutritious snacks -Dedicated, well-trained staff -Publicly funded child care participants accepted -Scholarship assistance -Access to other YMCA programs
