| 2020-11-13 | Complaint | 13A.16.07.03A(1) | Corrected |
| Findings: Complaint: Complainant reports that a child care worker yells at a child and the child screams blood curdling screams. This can be heard from the sidewalk and occurs at least 3x a month. At the time of the inspection, there were no children screaming or any staff members yelling at the children in care. Both the director and OH state sometimes the staff at the program might raise their voice when talking to the children in care but would not regard it as yelling. However, the director states she could understand how this might appear to someone not affiliated and the center and feels she can understand why a bystander would say they are yelling. The director mentions sometimes the staff might raise their voice when talking to a child across the room or when interacting with a child that might not be following directions. As a result of the allegations made at the program, the director states she will ensure that everyone at the program is mindful of how they talk to the kids in care and that they try to talk more softly to the kids, moving forward. Complaint Confirmed. See Remarks section for more information regarding the complaint. | |||

| 2020-06-30 | Mandatory Review | 13A.16.08.01A(2)(b) | Corrected |
| Findings: The director was by herself today so there were times when she needed to stand in between classrooms in order to assist children throughout the inspection, during lunch time. (Some kids needed to use the bathroom while other children were still eating) An operator shall ensure that each child receives adequate supervision and care at all times which is appropriate to the individual age, needs and capabilities of the child. Specialist recommends having an addition staff member present to assist with various times throughout the day when two persons are probably needed. The director states the one staff member was absent due to a funeral. Correction made during the virtual inspection. | |||
