Date Type Regulations Status
2020-02-26 Monitoring 13A.16.08.02B Corrected
Findings: Upon inspection of classroom #2 for infants, program has two Aides in charge of the group. Program should never leave Aides alone with children. Director reports having a "call out" today and had to use Aides as substitutes. However, the OCC has these staff members listed as Aides, not Substitutes. Program should submit change form to add staff member(s) as substitutes before using them as such. Program should submit changes to the OCC ASAP.

2019-04-05 Complaint 13A.16.09.04F Corrected
Findings: Upon entering the center, specialist saw a child with a stuffed animal sleeping in a crib. Other children had large fluffy blankets and one had a sheet that was too large for the crib, creating pools of fabric not safe for an infant to sleep on.
2019-04-05 Complaint 13A.16.12.06B(1) Corrected
Findings: While conducting the inspection, specialist observed a baby drinking a bottle in his crib. Staff member was standing, watching baby feed himself. Staff should be holding babies to feel unless babies are insistent on self-feeding.
2019-04-05 Complaint 13A.16.12.06B(2)(a) Corrected
Findings: While conducting the inspection, specialist observed a baby drinking a bottle in his crib. Baby should not be laying down in crib while drinking bottle.

Findings: Director reported to OCC that a staff member was let go for reports of aggressive behavior. Specialist was out for a complaint regarding this staff member in November. The reports included some physical aggression and some commentary to children that could be considered hurtful to those children. Staff verified some of the behavior and this teacher is no longer at the center.
2018-07-24 Routine 13A.16.10.05A(1) Corrected

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

my daughters have learned a lot since starting at this center. the staff cares a lot about the children and mary has been doing great since returning from maternity leave, the substitute manger was lazy and after complaining she was let go, mary really listens to what i have to say and i wouldn't take my children anywhere else.
