I wouldn't even give this Center one star. The list of violations SonShine has received from the MN Department of Human Services is unsettling. The latest (April, 2012) to include neglecting to backround nine employees who have direct contact with the children. Seven of these employees began in 2010, and two in 2011. I advise all parents seeking a safe, nurturing, stimulating and compliant with the laws of daycare to never, ever send their child to SonShine Learning Center in Mendota Heights, MN. And if you do not believe this review, please educate yourself through the MN Dept of Human Resources Website. DO NOT rely on the information you receive from SonShine--they will lie as they did to my family. I am sick my child ever attended this place.
