About the Provider

Something Special is a licensed child care facility that is a home away from home for your family. We understand that children learn best in a comfortable, loving environment that fills the social, emotional and educational needs of each child. We're committed to giving your child the highest quality preschool education. At Something Special we believe that every child is special and unique and has something to give the world that no one else can give. We are dedicated to nurturing and protecting the uniqueness and positive self esteem of each child. Something Special Learning Centers provide a warm, positive, stimulating environment in which children can grow at their own pace. The program is enriched with age-appropriate activities that are designed to develop a child's self-esteem, and to enhance social and intellectual skills. Our teachers prepare the environment for children to learn through active exploration. Classrooms are divided into Activity Centers that allow your child to obtain "hands-on" experiences in the world around him or her. Planned activities include: art and cooking projects, music, storytelling, and dramatic play which enhances a child's skills in all areas of development: social, emotional, cognitive, and physical.
