Smart Start Learning Center

Welcome to Smart Start Learning Centers! We offer parents caring,
education and learning focused child care for children 6 weeks of age through 12
years of age. Our staff are experienced and are trained in contemporary methods
and philosophies of quality child care. Our goal is to help each child we care for
to develop physically, emotionally and socially in an environment that is safe,
stimulating and supportive.

We are committed to serving children in a manner that parents will feel comfortable
in their choice of Smart Start Learning Center as a care and education partner
for their children entrusted to us..

Originally started in Belleville, IL in 2000, we now have a second location in New
Baden, IL. Each center provides quality services and both centers are licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. We participate in the child care subsidy program sponsored by the Illinois Department of Human Services and administered through the Child Care Resource and Referral program of Childrens Home and Aid Society. We also participate in the Federal Food Program and
provide nutritious breakfast, lunch and snacks daily for our program participants.

The Belleville facility provides Preschool For All services through the sponsorship of the Illinois State Board of Education. Serious budgetary issues of the State of Illinois have prevented us from expanding the service to the New Baden site but we will continue to request support for that service at our newest facilities.
