About the Provider

Description: Learning starts soon after birth, and is at an optimum period during the early years. Children go through common stages of development, they each learn at their own pace, learn best by doing, and do what is interesting and fun for them. Children who have a positive self-concept are better able to cope with new situations, which is the essence of successful human development. Parental involvement, coupled with a quality preschool program with low child-to-teacher ratio, is best for early childhood development.

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

I’m very heart broken in writing this. My son attended this school since 6 weeks. I have two other children ages 11 and 9 whom attended since birth. Once Managment change it was okay. My kids outgrew so we left an returned once my third child was born. I loved it. When my son was changed to the 1 Y/O room problems persisted. My son in 1 week was bitten more then 4 times in one simple week. I wasn’t notified until they actually drew blood. A “1 y/o” bit my son and drew blood it was the ONLY time I was notified I brought to the attention of the Director Alex and was told that their was nothing they can do. I disagreed. I Advise that I know that things like this happen. I also, know The kids will be kids. However, as a Director and a teaching instructor they could at least notified me. He agreed that that was true that they could have notified me and he stated that he was going to work on that. I told him something needed to be done how can I be at work at ease knowing my son has been chewed up like a dog toy. He stated that he had the teachers keep the child’s “a little girl” the highchair the entire day, then he proceeded to say half of the whole day. I was highly upset and advise him that that was unethical, Because kids will be kids. The matter was more so not notifying me or me feeling like my child was being watched and he wasn’t. Tuesday my son became anaphylactic due to an allergic reaction God for bid that happened at school how would I know my son is being watch. After I left feeling unsatisfied I just knew right away I needed to change my Children’s daycare. I proceeded to call ELC in order to have an emergency change. When I was questioned why I needed to change in such a rush I explained. The representative then opens up a case I advise if this was necessary I did not want to go that far. She stated that it was their protocol. I also advised that I wanted my kids out of the school prior to notifying the Director with the Complaints. On August 31, 2021 I received a call from an investigator to which they left me a voicemail I was unable to answer having a new job at all. I’ve been received a call from Small World Preschool. I Returned the car on my lunch break at 12:01 to be exact and Alex then proceeded to state that today was the last day he will be Taking my kids as to their is no actual Proper time given to have the switch done with ELC. I advised that was OK, I also emailed him for proof stating what just happened. I also advised that I need it on my items such as wipes, Pampers, clothing, blankets. I also advised that I need it might clothing and blankets that have been missing for about three weeks to a month and I’ve been eagerly asking for it. To which he stated they will Compensate for any items lost. However, I advised that I do not want to be compensated. Because, one of the blankets given to them what is the meaningful To me what the passing of my aunt who gave it has a gift. He had no care but just to turn my kids away so not have to do knowing that he was wrong and the entire situation and how it was approached. I will Have my attorney look into this because what they did was very unethical. I was also notified by another mother that they tend to hit kids. I quickly knew right away I had to get my kids out I just needed time to ELC Change in starting a new job. Please advise you guys not to sign your kids here unless they’re able to talk and tell you what’s wrong. I didn’t feel my child was safe, Because he couldn’t speak or tell me what was wrong. I loved this daycare until these incidents took place and I couldn’t get an answer to what was going on. I understand kids bite each other. However I felt for less than 20 kids having three teachers was suffice to have six set up eyeballs Watching my child. This daycare is good school Only if the child knows how to talk. Please proceed with caution as to their more about money than kids protection. I have off proof as well as a recording of our conversation That day. I also have pictures of every single bite backing up My factual complaints. I guess it’s true when they say you get what you pay for. Mommies and daddies please beware and please send your kids to a daycare where there is 24 seven cameras on them so you can have an easier mindframe at work. I also have other parents that were there that day who also overheard the conversation and heard what he said there was another mommy with the same issues of the little girl biting her daughter. Just please cautious. I will take this up the ladder to make sure this never happens again.

this is the best preschool in the entire area ! i searched for months for a place where i can feel comfortable leaving my son.the teachers treat the kids like if they were their own, putting their emotional, physical, and scholastic needs a priority. my son has developed so much since being here and hes growing more each day. i will never look for a better place because it simply doesnt exist, these people are so dedicated to the little angels and i have no complaints ! try them! you wont regret it !
