They won’t tell you anything that going on with your child they literally handed me 9 incident reports from two months back the day the expelled my five year old. Just for the record they only ever gave me two reports before hand on of which was for a bite mark another child gave him (but he came home twice with bite marks on his back) never received a report about the second bite. They complained that my son refused to participate which quickly turned to my son was bad I’ll behaved and violent. They stated the reason for his termination was due to the fact that he attacked his reach with scissors (when I asked for footage they couldn’t provide that) instead they showed me a video another staff member recorded on her cell phone of multiple staff and children surrounding my son as he yelled for them to please stop and to leave him alone they allowed another child to repeatedly hit him with a doc mc stuffins doll in the recording and used the fact that he grabbed the toy and slung it back at the child as proof that he was not a well behaved boy. They don’t care about your child in fact they ruined my sons experience with school he thinks this is how he will be treated everywhere and cry’s about school to his therapist. They won’t give you a chance to correct behavior (in my case I don’t believe my son was violent or they would have provided these incident reports the days in which they occurred instead of waiting till the day or termination to make us aware of these incidents. Heather Robinson victim blamed my son when I voiced concerns about my son being scared to come back to the class because the boy that hit him was still in the class with him and continuously bullying him she stated “well if Valen doesn’t want to come to class there is nothing we can do”. This facility has bad communication practices they are neglectful (didn’t even know or tell me of his second encounter with the biting child who btw still attends there) and lacks proper observation of the children that attend this location. Ooooohh and they have a roach problem that I became aware of the week of Halloween when they had pumpkins sitting out where they sometimes have the younger kids sit and eat their snacks we saw three adult German roaches crawl out the mouth of one jack o lantern and scurry across the table. Best believe we called elc to report everything in which elc stated that they had to report all this to the health department and dcf. I also had to make a ocr report because my son his on a spectrum and they denied my son access to the same education they provided other children. And contacted the licensing department to also voice concerns about their horrible practices and policies.
The daycare facility is horrible. The owners/staff are very unprofessional. When you voice an area of concern they do nothing to address the issue. I was told that they have plenty of kids on the waiting list and no longer needed my three boys attending. The owners have no respect and customer service. They only care about money and not the welfare of the kids. I pulled my boys out of the school immediately!!! The staff is all over the place and they dont even greet you in the morning with manners. The owners/staff lack customer service, professionalism, and ownership of any matter. I would not recommend the daycare to any parent. They will not show you respect please dont be fooled by the pretty website and the talk about education because it is not enforced. The attitude is extremely bad. The staff is constantly changing.
This place was wonderful in the begining. It began going down hill quickly. There was even a Groupon at one point - you know that can't be good. The teachers we had were actually quite good, but they came and went constantly. The teacher's helpers are just OK. They usually can't anwser any questions or talk to you about your child. They never know what's going on. The owners are terrible, and money driven. They won't work with you at all on anything your child might need. The wife does seem to have some concern about the kids, but the husband is horrid. He'll even go as far as to tell you how to parent. On top of tuition, they are constantly asking children to fundraise(and by that I mean parents, because kids who can't talk, can't fundraise). They constantly are looking for donations. There used to be cameras, but those are gone now. It makes you wonder why they all of the sudden don't want parents to see what going on. The kids come home with "Boo-boo", accident and bite reports multiple times a week. At first I thought it was just my child, but after talking to other parents it seems to be the norm. This just wasn't a great experience.
