Small Blessings Preschool

At Small Blessings, an outreach of the First United Methodist Church, we believe that all children are miracles. We value learning as a cooperative effort, which includes the partnerships of teachers, parents, children, and the church. Our focus is to provide a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate educational experience, promoting each child's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills. Small Blessings features a child-centered curriculum with teacher support that includes circle time, centers, snack, art, music, outdoor play, field trips, and special classroom visitors. At Small Blessings our goal is to provide a curriculum, based on Nevada State Pre-Kindergarten Standards that will provide the children with a basic foundation for their growth as students as well as teaching Christian values and concepts such as respect, love, warmth, positive support, and individuality.
