About the Provider

Designed for children who are three (by December 1) through kindergarten, Shining Star Preschool provides opportunities for your child to explore, wonder, question, create, and play, while engaging in age appropriate learning activities. We utilize a "theme based/letter of the week" curriculum that is reinforced in our various learning centers. We also incorporate and present sign language to the children.

We believe that a child learns through play. Our goal is to meet each child's needs in five important areas: spiritual, social, emotional, intellectual, and physical. Activities such as creative arts, math concepts, language development, science exploration, cooking, singing & creative movement, dramatic play, bible stories & songs, and prayer are all part of our day together.

We strive to promote the development of the whole child, as we encourage positive self-esteem and individuality, while fostering respect for others and the world around us.
