Please, if you even remotely care about your child don’t leave them here. I honestly can not stress this enough. She blocks you from the Facebook page so you can’t leave a bad review!! She does whatever she wants with your child regardless of specific instructions and makes up prices as she goes ! Last month my daughters pediatrician informed me he was concerned about her recent weight gain at her monthly check up and the nights I’d pick her up from Shaena’s shining stars her stomach would be so bloated and she began having trouble sleeping suddenly and it has been a nightmare watching my child suffer every night to sleep because her stomach hurt so bad. My daughter was on a special feeding schedule from her Doctor due to the recent weight gain and issues she had been having and I couldn’t understand why until I started to put the pieces together that this was happening ONLY in Marshaenas care. The next morning I pre packaged my daughters formula so she had no choice but to feed her the exact amount she should be having and I packed the exact amount PER HER DOCTOR she should have and Marshaena told me in a text that was not enough food and the food program required it to be in a enfamil Container (which was false information and she was supposed to be providing formula because she is in the food program and never did) she also stated in a text message she would continue to over feed my child instead of give her attention or let her play with toys to keep her from crying so the other toddlers didn’t get fussy. My child was not given any toys and she stated my child didn’t like them which anyone who has ever seen my child will tell you differently ! I would send toys in hopes she’d just give her those. Other children would throw her toys away and she wouldn’t even know I had brought any until the kids would say they threw them away !!! She refused to give me a zero balance letter for 4c stating I owed $180 for a withdrawal fee (even though she was notified two weeks prior I would be finding other daycare) and my child was not allowed to finish the week that had just started and she was paid for. Not like I’d take my child back there if my life depended on it but you can’t even tell her you’re switching or she will tell you that you can’t come back immediately. After I explained to 4c that I was never made aware of any policies or signed any documentation regarding her claim of a $180 withdrawal fee and she was refusing to give me the letter needed to transfer my child she then stated to 4c that i actually owed it to her for missing co payments !! I showed and printed every single co payment from the beginning and then they called her once more to ask what she was talking about because they see every payment I thankfully labeled as “daycare” and provided the dates just to cover myself, she then tried to lie and say she charges $200 per week and then I showed them the text where she said herself my rate was $160 a week. After four hours 4c agreed to proceed with my child’s transfer without her letter. On top of all of this she has someone come stand in while she runs errands that is not screened nor certified to be left with children. She has her “ex” husband come over to visit their daughter while she’s running this sad excuse of a daycare and all they do is scream and fight IN FRONT OF THE CHILDREN. God only knows who else comes over to the house or is there while she’s out running personal errands. She is not in compliance with DCF on a lot of regulations either. She is a person that abuses the system and will try and milk you for any money she can get. She is not an honest person and I feel horrible my child had to endure suffering, neglect, and abuse from this woman.
