About the Provider
We feel our first responsibility to your child is his/her social and emotional growth--learning to separate from a parent, working in large and small groups, sharing, following directions, working with adults as well as other children--grounded in a loving, Christian environment. Additionally, our program is geared toward the development of gross and fine motor skills through a variety of activities. Academic skills are introduced through games, stories, group times, and creative exploration. The measure of our success is through your child. Upon completion of the Shady Grove UMC Preschool program, your child will leave with positive feelings about himself/herself. Additionally, your child will be independent, self-assured, and ready for kindergarten.
