About the Provider

Seton Catholic School was founded in 1976 by the local priests, parents, and parishioners of St. Mary's of the Visitation and St. Patrick's of Ottumwa, Iowa. Christian parents of the Ottumwa area, both Catholic and protestant, wanted an alternative to the public school system at that time. They desired to provide their children with a Christ-centered education based on the premise that each child has a right to every opportunity for maximum growth intellectually, spiritually, emotionally, physically, and socially.
