Description: Welcome to Second Baptist Church Day School. Our school was established in the fall of 1998. We began our ministry with only a small number of pre-school children, but have since then incorporated school-age children up to 5th grade.
We offer a quality Christian education whose foundation is the Word of God. Our primary curriculum used in the Pre-School program is A-Beka. This curriulum implements phonics to teach reading beginning with our four year old students. Bob Jones curriculum is taught in the Kindergarten through Fifth grade classes.
Chapel services are held each Wednesday at 10:00 in the church sanctuary. Students learn valuable lessons on how to apply Biblical principles to everyday life. We sing traditional hyms a well as learn some contemporary songs. All parents are welcome to join us for Chapel.
We provide nutritious snacks and lunch for our students each day at no additional charge to parents. Menus are sent home with students at the beginning of each month.
After school care is available from 12:00-5:30 for our students for an additional charge. Students are served snacks, play games, work on homework, art projects, and develop large muscle skills through free and organized play.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues.
