About the Provider

I believe a relaxed child care home environment is essential to the well being and development of each child. This type of environment allows children to grow and learn at their own paces, without the pressures of today’s society. Children learn through active, creative and relaxed play so each child’s mind will be stimulated daily using age appropriate books, games, music and toys.  On occasion there will be activities such as but not limited to finger painting and play-doh. These activities are about the process not about the finished product.  There will not be things sent home on a weekly basis.  Items made to take home are reserved for special occasions.  We have story time everyday.  During this time each child is encouraged to share a story or we will read a story together.  Holidays and traditions are of great importance.  Different beliefs and practices are celebrated around the world.  With that in mind holidays and traditions will be incorporated into our holiday discussions and celebrations.  If you feel this is the type of child care setting you would prefer your child/children to be enrolled in, I look forward to working with you and your child.
