Description: School for Little Children is a NAEYC-accredited, part-time preschool located in the heart of downtown Evanston. For almost 80 years, SLC has provided a high-quality, play-based education for young children ages 2 through 5 years.
Through the use of child-centered activities, SLC offers an approved curriculum based on current early learning standards and NAEYC accredited criteria, which encourages the social, cognitive, language and motor development of children. Well known in the Evanston community, SLC boasts high teacher/child ratios in all of its classes and promotes a strong community among our families.
