The Schoenbaum Family Center at Weinland Park was created to meet the unique needs of every child. Here, we offer educational early childhood learning experience for children ranging from 6 weeks to 5 years old as well as provide training and support for parents of young children.

Students from The Ohio State University observe learning in the classrooms, participate in classroom activity to practice effective guidance of child learning, and may be involved in research to create new knowledge related to the growth and development of children and the environments that most effectively nurture children.

The Laboratory School builds on a rich heritage of care for young children, beginning in 1924. Teaching and learning in the Laboratory School combines with research conducted in the Center to guide teaching, family support, and contributions to community development in Weinland Park.
