Minnie Cline is one of four elementary schools in the Savannah R-III School District. Minnie Cline is located at 808 West Price, Savannah, Missouri 64485 where you will find students, parents, teachers, and staff that care about children. The mission statement of the Savannah R-III School District and Minnie Cline Elementary School is to nurture, inspire, challenge and encourage every student by providing the education to become a productive member of society. Our common goals are to put learning as a priority with respect and integrity. The collaboration between students, parents, and teachers is the culture that we maintain. Minnie Cline has 561 students. We have four classrooms Kindergarten through Fifth Grades. Our students have activities such as Literature Club, Ace Club, and Accelerated Readers Club. During the week, we have three 30 minute Communication Arts RtI sessions and two 30 minute RtI sessions to enhance every student's learning capability. We also are able to provide Title I Reading with small reading groups. We have wonderful Art, Music and PE programs that inspire children to see many aspects of their talents. Our teachers are highly qualified educators that continue to strive to find the best learning strategies to meet the needs of all children. Although Minnie Cline Elementary School is unique in its larger size, we maintain a family atmosphere by offering Family Nights, such as Dr. Seuss Night, Community Heroes, PTO Carnival, McTeacher's Night, and Spring Fling run/walk, plus many more. Our PTO is a wonderful entity of Minnie Cline that works hand in hand with the teachers and parents.
