| Findings: Complaint: Provider reported that she was not feeling well on 10.9.2020 so she closed for the day just in case her sickness was COVID related. She stated that she and her husband got tested and the results came back negative on that Sunday. However, the provider did not notify this specialist about the situation until 10.12.20. Complaint Confirmed. Provider feels what she did was already in line with what the health department was going to direct her to do. Specialist informed the provider to ensure to contact OCC about any changes in operation, in addition to any closures that may be related to COVID-19 issues, concerns or testing. Provider also informed to ensure that she not only contacts this specialist but that she contacts the Health Department about any COVID-19 related issues or concerns. Please note this specialist also had this same discussion with the provider the day the complaint was taken which was on 10.14.20.
