About the Provider
Salem Academy Christian is a private school which was founded in 1945 and is located on a 20 acre campus in Salem, Oregon. Salem is the capitol of Oregon, with a population of around 160,000. The SA campus includes 6 classroom buildings; 2 gymnasiums; baseball, football & track fields; and the administration building. View a satellite picture of SA.
SAC is accredited by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools and a member of the Association of Christian Schools International. The High School in 2010-2011 had a total of 230 students. The ISP had 33 international students from Japan, Korea, China, and Vietnam.
Graduates from SA have been accepted at universities such as University of Oregon, Oregon State University, Portland State University, Western Oregon University, Washington State University, Biola University, Azusa University, Stanford University, West Point, Columbia University, etc. View where 2011 graduates are headed!
We are a member of the Oregon Schools Activities Association (OSAA) and compete against other schools in football, volleyball, basketball, field & track, softball, baseball, raquetball, and golf. SA also has an excellent fine arts department offering classes in choir, instrumental music and drama. For additional statistic information click here!
