Description: Saddleback Children's Center (SCC) was established in 1983 as an independent, Church-affiliated, outreach program through Community Lutheran Church. Originally located on El Toro Road in Lake Forest the Church and School moved to Rancho Santa Margarita in1988. The school reopened on Feb. 14, 1989 and has been serving the families in the Rancho Santa Margarita area ever since. SCC is a non-profit institution incorporated through the Evangelical Lutheran Churches of America (ELCA). The governing board, a self-perpetuating School Committee, which meets ten times a year, is responsible for the practical operation of the School. We are licensed though the Department of Social Services, facility license # 300606937.
